- Don’t expect police to come out after a crime if you’re healthy, middle-aged and speak good English
Deputy commissioner Craig Mackey said the “absolutely feasible” change would see the Met assessing the level of risk faced by a caller when deciding whether to send officers for a “face to face service”.
He said members of the public who might be prioritised in future included people with learning difficulties, the elderly and people who did not speak English as their first language.
Healthy middle-aged men such as himself might miss out. Mr Mackey said burglary victims would “probably always get a service” but that “vehicle crime, those sorts of things” were among the types of offence where police might not attend unless the person affected was vulnerable.
The story behind the story: the police want more money, so they are trying to scare the voters. This is an age-old tactic, but this time it might backfire because the voters already expect little from the police, who are too busy busting people for un-PC tweets to follow up on old fashioned crimes. In a larger sense, how anyone expected egalitarianism not to go this route is baffling. Egalitarianism is an “ism,” meaning a pursuit of, so it enforces equality, which can only be done by raising up the lower at the expense of the higher. Therefore, everything goes to the lower. If you succeed, society hates you. It wants more compliant drones instead.
- Are Democrats finally ready to unfriend Facebook and Silicon Valley?
I bring all this up not to ding Obama participating in a corporate whitewash, but to remind liberals and Democrats that, until very recently, this was who we liberals were. We drank the Kool-Aid. We believed the hype. Facebook wasn’t a “danger to democracy”, we thought. Facebook was democracy.
Someone might want to point out to him that democracy follows a similar pattern to Facebook: the herd, “set free,” pursue their selfish interests, and this creates chaos from which are birthed a series of corrupt controllers who become increasingly authoritarian in order to keep the unpunished herd in line. Facebook just cuts out the middleman and goes straight for control.
- America’s Restaurants Need a Permanent DACA Solution
While DACA recipients may feel alone at times, the National Restaurant Association is standing with them – along with businesses across the country – in urging Congress and the administration to find a solution that provides a path to lawful permanent residency and avoids the economic damage that would come from a mass deportation of these young people. After all, these individuals are the backbone of every community across our nation.
It’s always about restaurants. Leftists, as modern domesticated neotenes, see the world like a preschool: they do schoolwork, get graded, and then can buy things with their grades. They like restaurants because they are easier than family order, planning ahead, and thinking about the purpose and meaning of life.
In the meantime, this article demonstrates exactly why journalism is in such trouble. Restaurant workers are not “the backbone of every community across our nation.” They are low-paid labor working in a luxury industry that, if it went away, would do little more than inconvenience us. We are pursuing the false god of things that are currently profitable and ignoring what we really should pay attention to, which is things that generate value under any circumstance.
- Conservatives Will Never Get the Respect They Crave. They Don’t Deserve It.
Promethean culture-bringers tend to stand in opposition to this ethic. Artists deconstruct and challenge paradigms of power. Inventors disrupt established orders. Comedians provide a softened way to speak harsh truths that would otherwise go unspoken. Academics poke holes in established doctrines and question the nature of accepted reality. Journalists afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted. And so on. This is the process by which, slowly but surely, societies change and wrongs are righted if only over generations. It’s the method that gives us the confidence to assert, despite frequent steps backward, that the moral arc of the universe does bend slowly toward justice.
Trump/Farage are a replacement for contemporary conservatives, who existed merely to keep business working, as far as anyone can tell. They certainly failed to stop the Leftist takeover. However, “Promethean culture” is in fact nothing more than the herd chasing its own tail. All of this “new” and “disruptive” ideation has not amounted to anything fundamentally different from what was en vogue during the French Revolution. The takeaway here is that conservatives should not want respect from these people, but to replace them and deport them.
- Michael Hayden: The End of Intelligence
In this post-truth world, intelligence agencies are in the bunker with some unlikely mates: journalism, academia, the courts, law enforcement and science — all of which, like intelligence gathering, are evidence-based. Intelligence shares a broader duty with these other truth-tellers to preserve the commitment and ability of our society to base important decisions on our best judgment of what constitutes objective reality.
Deep state bigwig writes oleaginous prose. What he is trying to conceal is that his version of “intelligence” failed because it is a ruse. Empiricism requires honesty. When not applied openly, it results in simply propaganda one step removed. The “objective” thinkers carefully design categories of evidence they accept so that it supports their conclusions, then argue from that evidence toward broader application where none is warranted. Science is in the middle of a replicability crisis, journalists worldwide are discredited, the courts seem like robots applying ever-broader standards as in Obergefell v. Hodges, and academia has made a mockery of itself. Those are not intelligence… they are filters, and they are designed to confirm an assumption that Leftist “progress” toward Utopia is the only path for humanity.
- Trump threatens government shutdown in September if no funding for wall
“That wall has started, we have 1.6 billion (dollars),” Trump said at a campaign rally in Washington, Michigan.
“We come up again on September 28th and if we don’t get border security we will have no choice, we will close down the country because we need border security.”
…A $1.3 trillion spending bill, which Trump signed last month, will keep the government funded through the end of September. A government shutdown ahead of the November mid-elections is unlikely to be supported by his fellow Republicans who are keen to keep control of the U.S. Congress.
Republicans have a choice: get with the “populist” future or get discarded as part of the Regime. People were tolerant of Leftism when it seemed to be rising over a failing old world order, but now we see that Leftism has not only failed to deliver on its promises, but has made life worse, and the old order was actually correct, just unpopular. Those Republicans in Congress will not be keeping control if they do not move from the old new order to the new old order.
- Mr. President, End the Collusion . . . in the Healthcare Industry
…But the S&P 500’s performance pales in comparison to that of Aetna Insurance. The health insurance giant saw its stock value go up by 445 percent in that same time frame. However, Aetna was outshone by Humana, which saw its stock go up 608 percent. Not to be outdone, United Health saw its stock grow by 655 percent. But the real winner in that time frame was Cigna, whose stock value grew by a whopping 866 percent.
While we’ve heard the term “collusion” bandied about incorrectly for over a year regarding the fairytale of Trump/Russia collusion in the 2016 election, the term actually applies to businesses. The term is defined as “a secret arrangement between two parties whose interest seemingly conflict to commit fraud upon another party.”
We need to realize that health care providers and insurance companies have created a mutually beneficial racket. While on the surface it would appear they’re competing, by the numbers, they’re actually not and have created a very beneficial system for themselves while sticking it to the American people.
The story never changes. People invent something good. Then everyone else shows up and demands their share. Out come the rules, the regulations, the procedures, and the bureaucrats! The task is no longer whatever that “something good” was; now it is managing people, which gives the “everyone else” contingent jobs and wealth. Then again, if they could not invent this in the first place, why should we keep them around? Free healthcare wowed the voters who were suffering from the delayed shock of bad 1990s monetary and lending policy. They grasped at straws. Now they are getting it good and hard for their factless, clueless, and guileless enthusiasm.
- US says border crossing doesn’t have room for asylum seekers
The asylum-seekers began the day with anticipation, traveling in red-and-white school buses under police escort to a beachfront rally in Tijuana, where a steel fence juts out into the Pacific Ocean. They sang the Honduran national anthem, and supporters on the San Diego side of the fence waved a Honduran flag.
After a final briefing from lawyers and minutes before they were to begin a short walk to the border crossing, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan announced that the San Ysidro border crossing, the nation’s busiest, had “reached capacity” for people without legal documents and that asylum-seekers may need to wait in Mexico temporarily.
Trump has commented frequently on the caravan since it started in Mexico on March 25 near the Guatemala border and headed north to Tijuana. His broadsides came as his administration vowed to end what officials call “legal loopholes” and “catch-and-release” policies that allow people requesting asylum to be released from custody into the U.S. while their claims make their way through the courts, which can take years.
Trump shut them down in the best way possible: he refused to roll over and make special accommodations for these snowflakes who, like all other migrants, are economic opportunists, not refugees. In the meantime, diversity still does not work because it ends in racial enmity and pathology. Time to shut it down.
- Kim’s Charm Offensive Pressures Trump Before Summit
The 34-year-old dictator plans to invite foreign journalists to witness the shutdown of North Korea’s main nuclear weapons test site in May, South Korean President Moon Jae-in’s spokesman told reporters on Sunday. The revelation came shortly after Kim pledged “complete denuclearization” at a meeting with Moon on Friday, without providing further detail.
While all of us want an end to the terror of the Korean war and disunification, it is time to be cautious here: Kim is playing this one too masterfully to not have an objective in mind. His South Korean counterpart is thoroughly Leftist; perhaps he envisions a unified Leftist Korea. Another thought is that he intends to make the North Korean brand squeaky clean so that he can take over high-take manufacturing labor from China, who is slowing down as first-world style accoutrements spread in the country. The world needs another source of cheap, reliable labor, and Kim could step into that gap and become powerful just as China did before him. If Korea unifies, any conditions he imposes on the South — which is currently too emotional to think clearly, and in the grips of a Leftist regime — will be respected, allowing him to maintain the power he has, or expand it.
- The new stock-market fear: Signs that a period of harmonious global growth is crumbling
However, industrial output in February, fell by 1.6% in Germany, the eurozone’s largest economy. That slide came as overall business activity in Europe had begun to lag amid persistent concerns of the imposition of tariffs by President Trump’s administration on billions of goods to the U.S.
…Against that backdrop, inflation has been percolating, with commodities, particularly West Texas Intermediate crude-oil future CLM8, -1.01% gaining sharply in recent weeks. WTI, the U.S. oil benchmark, has risen 12.5% so far this year, with more than 5% of that advance coming in just the past 30 days.
That rise in commodities translates into higher costs for corporations and consumers alike, higher costs that may be tough to swallow amid any genuine signs of pullback in economic expansion in its ninth year in the U.S.
This is a repeat of what happened during the Bush years. Clinton pursued a classic Leftist demand-based monetary policy which created rapid growth but did not generate productive value to match, which meant that a strong correction was coming. Obama did the same thing, and left the same void of actual value which is going to require a market correction.
- The Jewish Question: An Empirical Examination
On average, gentile elites voted for the Republican candidate by a margin of 3.75 points. The general public did so by an average margin of 7.75 points. Jewish elites, by contrast, on average voted for the democrat candidate by a margin of 67.25 points. Because Jews accounted for 28% of the total sample of elites, we can estimate that Jews pushed the “elite vote” an average 18.83 points to the left per election, moving the totality of American elites from the right to the left.
Political ideology data was consistent with voting data. 43% of the general public, 42% of gentile elites, and 12% of Jewish elites described themselves as conservative, while 74% of Jewish elites, 37% of gentile elites, and 21% of the general public described itself as liberal. For the total sample of elites, 48.48% described themselves as liberal while just 33.6% described themselves as conservative. Thus, the influence of Jewish elites switched mean ideological bias of elites from conservative by a margin of 5 to liberal by a margin of 15.
The primary issue for any group other than the majority is discrimination, because it is what they logically expect to receive when the majority realizes that diversity is unstable. Jews are distinctive in that they are highly successful, so their actions have more repercussions than those of other minority groups. However, this creates an inevitable backlash which has resulted in them being ejected from European nations dozens of times and Holocausted once. This is one of the many ways that diversity destroys both host (majority) and vector (minority).
- Mitt Romney: I’m ‘more of a hawk on immigration’ than Trump
Want to see the free market at work in politics? Trump cut out ahead of the team by daring to talk about immigration and demographic replacement, so now former cucks are realizing that in order to compete and not get cut out like recent failed Republican candidates for local elections, they will have to take the lead back from Trump. Mitt may someday realize that his “47% comment” was his chance for the presidency and when he backed down off of that, he did irreparable damage to his brand. Maybe he can revitalize it however.
- Zinke tells employees diversity isn’t important
- Israeli chief rabbi calls black people ‘monkeys’
You can tell that an idea is a walking corpse when people start viewing it as optional. In this life, what is not necessary is dead, and diversity has proven useless for finding high quality staffers, so it is being discarded. As this spreads, there will be a challenge to affirmative action, and if that falls, what makes this country so attractive to immigration will be effectively reduced. If the welfare state also falls, relatively few will want to come here.
Across the globe, nationalist and xenophobic sentiment is rising. Why? Diversity is genocide, and people do not want to be genocided. Sometimes it takes the unfortunate form of rancor or scorn for other groups, but this will quickly be seized by saner minds who realize that all they have to do is say that diversity does not work.
Finally we are seeing some attention to the genocide of European peoples by their elected leaders, revealed in a new book by Douglas Murray which explores Euro-suicide as a psychology:
The in-migration was initially hailed as an economic boon; then as a necessary corrective to an aging population; then as a means of spicing up society through “diversity”; and finally as a fait accompli, an unstoppable wave wrought by the world’s gathering globalization. Besides, argued the elites, the new arrivals would all become assimilated into the European culture eventually, so what’s the problem?
As British journalist and author Douglas Murray writes, “Promised throughout their lifetimes that the changes were temporary, that the changes were not real, or that the changes did not signify anything, Europeans discovered that in the lifespan of people now alive they would become minorities in their own countries.”
…A key point of the book, reinforced through anecdote and abundant documentation, is that Muslim immigrants have not assimilated into their European host countries to any meaningful extent. Indeed, there is a growing feeling among many of the new arrivals that these aren’t host countries at all but merely lands ripe for Islam’s inexorable expansion.
…Murray explains the motivation of those who engage in such flights of moral dudgeon thus: “Rather than being people responsible for themselves and answerable to those they know, they become the self-appointed representatives of the living and the dead, the bearers of a terrible history as well as the potential redeemers of mankind. From being a nobody one becomes a somebody.”
In other words: individualism.
To be pro-diversity is to assume the role of a wise sage, a powerful king, and a godlike emperor all in one. It makes people feel smarter and more powerful than their neighbors and, in an age where everyone is made equal, the only real resource is being unique or more powerful than someone else. They need to find someone else to be better than.
In the meantime, all of the excuses for immigration turn out to be lies, because the real goal of those in power is to destroy any impediment to the expansion of their commercial, political, and social interests. How did we get leaders like this? We elected them, and by doing it repeatedly, created a political environment so toxic that no one of any sanity would enter it because they knew they would lose.
And so we have elevated to the level of elite those who are merely opportunists and actors willing to pantomime the play onstage. They know the right thing to say after every tragedy; they know how to connect powerful people, siphon money, reveal opportunity, and manage a system in which the conclusions are extensions of the assumptions. “More equality” and “more business” are always the right answers.
Original Western European society kept individualism in check with a strong sense of culture, religion, heritage, and purpose. With egalitarianism, purpose was lost, because it created a hierarchy based on who could achieve it, and that debunked and invalidated equality as a notion. So we junked it, and now, we have criminal actors on a stage made up of insanity as the whole thing sinks into the mire.
Back in 1968, a seismic shift occurred across the West as we transitioned to the values system of individualism instead of social order:
In 1968, the baby boom generation came of age and started making its mark. The “Me Generation” had arrived. The men, sons of the “Greatest Generation,” did not want to fight communism in Vietnam as their fathers had fought fascism in Germany, Italy and Japan. The women wanted new social equality and freedom concerning sex, marriage and work that their mothers had never dreamed of.
The “Protestant ethic” of self-discipline and personal responsibility was rejected by many boomers. In its place was thrust forward a culture of entitlement and “self-actualization” as the New Jerusalem for America. Duty to family and country was old-fashioned, not “hip,” while “if it feels good, do it” became a norm for progressive minds to embrace.
Instead of responsibility to an order — social, natural, divine, logical — instead there was only individualism. Whatever the individual desired was right, and this replaced the notion of the individual adapting to its environment and having a civilization so that order could prevail. Not surprisingly, this caused people to revert to monkey behavior, essentially fornicating wildly, being parasitic, ganging up on non-conformists, and otherwise reverting to primal urges.
Sexual liberation led to a lack of trust between people, because when you are lover #64 you know that you are kept as a matter of convenience, not the eternal love that your grandparents had. That in turn led to divorce, which created unstable children from Generation X onward who spent most of their free time wondering how they could know if anything was real, true, good, or important, because they never really had any examples or stability in their lives.
The ethnic, class, and racial liberation also produced more hybrids, brought forth many ill-considered genetic mixes, and destroyed the notion of having culture at all. The hippie emphasis on drugs created not just a society strung out on weed, but a mentality from “big pharma” that there was a pill for anything. Better living through chemistry. We also cannot forget how the hippie ethos of personal laziness and the dogmatic pursuit of art, music, hedonism, and “new” ideas put us into a cycle of novelty-seeking culminating in Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO).
Even worse, the hippies introduced the idea that having the “correct” ideas was more important than being actually correct. This set us adrift from reality entirely, so that all that matters is the approval of our peers at the voting box, in the pub, at the cash register, or around the water cooler. Not surprisingly, now, insanity predominates in the West:
A group of Democrats in Congress held briefings on Capitol Hill with a Yale professor named Brandy X. Lee who, in admitted complete violation of the ethics governing her profession, has edited and contributed to a book claiming President Donald Trump is losing his mind. What’s the point of ethics when you have a product to sell?
Lee found a receptive audience among the more unstable liberals in Congress, including Maryland Representative Jamie Raskin, who regaled CNN with tales of his “concern” for Trump’s mental health. Raskin, looking like he’d recently slept in a bag of potato chips, told CNN of his concern that the President was crazy.
What’s really crazy is advocating for policies that have failed throughout the world, as Raskin and his fellow travelers often do in government. Unstable is the mind calling for socialized medicine and extol the virtues of the UK’s National Health Service without acknowledging the fact that all non-emergency surgeries have been canceled for the month of January because their system is simply overwhelmed. That’s straightjacket-level insane.
Straightjacket-level insane is what happens when you destroy the breeding stock of your nations, shatter families, turn education into propaganda, bedazzle and befuddle minds with mental gymnastics to support a ludicrous ideology, and then saturate those people in propaganda through entertainment while working them into tedious oblivion with soul-sucking jobs. The West is no longer a civilization; it is an insane asylum, ruined by its own “well meaning” policies that culminated in the radical individualism of 1968.
Let us be clear: the rot had been coming for long before that. If the appalling carnage of WW1 did not wake us, and the grotesque waste of the Civil War did not snap us out of the daydream, then surely the horrors of WW2 and the Cold War would not either. That was the case; we slept through those, living in grim terror and denying it with all of our might, only to find that when the Cold War ended, we had no purpose left and so there was nothing to keep us from rushing headlong into full socialism.
And that rot was explainable back to the origins of democracy, which as Plato warned us, is not so much a bad system of government as it is a system that makes people go insane. Without orientation and boundaries, purpose and meaning, they drift into an oblivion of solipsism, navel-gazing as they self-destruct. This loss of character also leads to a loss of genetic integrity, which begins the gradual degradation of the group in ability. We are already seeing genetic degeneration:
In sum: at one time the best of Britons (aged 12–14) could cope with items on the formal level and blended into a smooth curve of performance. Now these items are beyond many of them and register as a huge decimation of high scorers.
Piagetian gains at the bottom of the curve should not be dismissed as simply a phenomenon that offsets losses at the top. Consider the British results for Equilibrium and Pendulum. The decimation of top scorers means that by the age of 12 to 14, fewer British schoolchildren attain the level of formal operations. This means that fewer could think in terms of abstractions (without concrete examples), which limits their capacity for deductive logic and systematic planning. However, the fact that these losses are made up by gains over the rest of the “curve” means that far more of them are at the concrete generalization level. They are better at on the spot thinking (e.g. in playing demanding computer games). Their understanding of the physical world is limited to simple causation between two variables, but they can draw inferences from observations to make generalizations.
The Piagetian results are particularly ominous. Looming over all is their message that the pool of those who reach the top level of cognitive performance is being decimated: fewer and fewer people attain the formal level at which they can think in terms of abstractions and develop their capacity for deductive logic and systematic planning. They also reveal that something is actually targeting that level with special effect, rather than simply reducing its numbers in accord with losses over the curve as a whole. We have given our reason as to why the Piagetian tests are sensitive to this phenomenon in a way that conventional tests are not.
Massive IQ gains over time were never written in the sky as something eternal like the law of gravity. They are subject to every twist and turn of social evolution. If there is a decline, should we be too upset? During the 20th century, society escalated its skill demands and IQ rose. During the 21st century, if society reduces its skill demands, IQ will fall.
In a civilization where stupidity, insanity, and narcissism are the norm, there is zero reward for intelligence, self-discipline, moral character, and insight, so those things will die out, being replaced with the ability to be funny at the bar, the capacity to memorize large amounts of disorganized information, and a creative impulse toward new sexual positions. 1968 cut us free from reality; we have found, to our surprise, that what was left — ourselves — was not only not that fascinating, but a path to stupidity.
Recently I took a friend with only a high school degree to lunch. Insensitively, I led her into a gourmet sandwich shop. Suddenly I saw her face freeze up as she was confronted with sandwiches named “Padrino” and “Pomodoro” and ingredients like soppressata, capicollo and a striata baguette. I quickly asked her if she wanted to go somewhere else and she anxiously nodded yes and we ate Mexican.
Lacking a culture in common, cosmopolitans instead invent a series of tokens of identity based on what they do share, which is shopping, media, pop culture, the public arts, and knowledge of fine varieties of food, alcohol, cigars, and other luxuries. They then use these tokens of identity to create a social hierarchy where the people who are “in the know” or “in the in-group” have the latest tokens and everyone else follows them as tastemakers and leaders.
They also use these tokens offensively, equating ignorance of cosmopolitan culture with ignorance in general, and using that to shame people who have not joined the cosmopolitan clique. This enables them to dominate others through social means instead of by actually being natural elites, or those who are in power because of higher ability.
From the Star Tribune, an analysis of what actually ails America:
When the complete history of the decline and fall of the American nation comes to be written, the turning point toward failure will not be recorded as the election of Donald Trump in 2016. It will be found among the events of 1968.
…Forces unleashed back then by angry protesters and resentful defenders of traditional ideals culminated decades later in the division of our people into “red” and “blue” warring tribes, with no cultural intermediaries left to speak of.
…The “Protestant ethic” of self-discipline and personal responsibility was rejected by many boomers. In its place was thrust forward a culture of entitlement and “self-actualization” as the New Jerusalem for America. Duty to family and country was old-fashioned, not “hip,” while “if it feels good, do it” became a norm for progressive minds to embrace.
In other words, we had a Socialist takeover. By allying with the Communists in WW2, America made herself open to the idea of Socialism, but paired it with a thriving capitalist state and applied it through “Great Society” and “New Deal” programs, which applied the Socialist subsidy state through tax-and-spend wealth transfer. This accomplished the goal of egalitarianism, which is always to reduce the higher so that the lower can thrive.
During the 1968 years, America shifted from a civilization founded on the idea of opportunity to one based on the idea of subsidy, or that “we” the people would subsidize each other, which always means taking from the productive and gifting to the unproductive. It took another twenty years to take effect fully, and during the intervening two decades, we have seen the destruction that it has wrought in the style of Soviet Communism.
Included among its many tentacles is the idea that a majority population such as Caucasian must be replaced because of their inherent rank in ability above third-world groups. This has manifested itself as a government agenda to destroy Caucasians through affirmative action, taxes, lawsuits, subjugation, and other forms of control. The hippies enjoy their final victory, but they do so at the expense of the land they inherited. “We had to destroy the village to save it, sir.”
From USA Today, a sensible analysis of Donald Trump the moderate:
I served in Ronald Reagan’s White House and managed his reelection campaign in 1984. Then, like now, the occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue was more than a transformative political figure — he was the face of a national revolution. President Reagan won more than 54 million votes in 1984, carrying 49 out of 50 states. Americans overwhelmingly trusted him to roll back government bureaucracy, unleash economic prosperity and pursue peace through military strength.
More than three decades later, Trump ran and won on similar promises. He too vowed to hold Washington accountable, jumpstart sluggish economic growth, and rebuild America’s military to protect our nation’s interests first and foremost. His message resonated in corners of the country where the liberal media and political punditry thought it impossible.
Trump offered a simple platform: he would back off from the ideological agenda of Leftists and their hope of globalism, and instead focus on function. That means reducing taxes and regulation, centering America on some idea of what we are trying to do, and restoring the confidence and faith people have in their nation-state. However, this conflicts with the Leftist agenda of conformity, so it is provoking squawks of discontent from the Establishment formed informally of Leftists in government, media, industry, academia, and entertainment.
As we look deeper into the causes of The Human Problem that results in genocide through diversity caused by civilization breakdown, the topic of mirror neurons rises more frequently.
Mirror neurons are fundamental components of our brains that “mirror” actions we see in the world, so that we feel as if we were doing those actions. This causes them to create a fast-moving virus of conformity throughout humanity as people lose the distinction between self and group:
In the study, which was published in Frontiers in Integrative Neuroscience, Iacoboni and colleagues analyzed mirror neurons, brain cells that respond equally when someone performs an action or simply watches someone else perform the same action. Mirror neurons play a vital role in how people learn through mimicry and feel empathy for others.
When you wince while seeing someone experience pain — a phenomenon called “neural resonance” — mirror neurons are responsible.
In addition, these mirror neurons explain many human behaviors, and why those behaviors spread through an infection model:
Mirroring works in both. Learning through observation is important, especially if you see a player who is more skilled than you are. Seeing the actions of others activates your own motor system. And watching sports is almost like playing the game. When you watch with others, you’re getting this vicarious experience, and you have the fellow humans [around you] doing the same thing. It’s highly rewarding.
…Creating and/or inducing mirroring during a salesman-customer interaction likely benefits salesmanship. A good salesman’s connection with the customer lowers all the defenses. You feel good if you buy stuff from this guy you like so much. I guess some politicians do that, too.
…People have their own motives, public opinion changes and issues change, but also the public image of [candidates] is affected by what other people are thinking. [The media] report on polls [as though] people are just thinking about the issues. But if, in a community, someone says, “I’m unhappy with this candidate who I really liked two months ago,” that can spread like emotions spread. You may see an incredible sway in polls because of a community in which people reinforce each other’s decision-making.
…In most cases, when you are in any social situation, you want to conform. It’s a way of feeling that you belong to that community, even if it’s just a party. And a simple way to belong is to do what other people do.
This article mentions mirror neuron response as a control mechanism, albeit — for now — confined to psychological maladies:
A number of conditions — schizophrenia, depression, autism — have a social cognition deficit. [People suffering from] malfunctioning social cognition don’t get into the minds of others. If we are able to improve empathy, we may improve the social cognition — and even the community function — of these patients.
Those of us who are concerned about the genocidal tendencies of humanity realize that, terrifyingly, mirror neurons create a social-emotional response that resembles herd behavior like stampedes, feeding frenzies, and events where the group turns on an individual and kills them. All of these are observable in nature and there is zero reason to think they do not manifest in humanity.
From over at Truth Over Tradition, a stunning analysis of how interracial marriage is causing a de facto genocide of the African-American ethnic group in the United States:
According to all the latest marriage statistics here in the U.S., there are more black people marrying out-side of their race than ever before. Research shows that there are well over 500,000 interracial marriages between black and whites today. Research also shows that about 3 in every 10 new black marriages are with someone outside of their race, with most of them being white. And out of all of the interracial marriages today, it is discovered that black men marry outside of their race almost three times as much as black women do.
The increasing numbers of interracial marriages among our people today is a clear sign that the black family in America is slowly dying out and on record to become extinct. Today, Black America is only 13% of the U.S. population. And when you take into account that the majority of our brothers are locked up in prison, dead, or gay; then you can easily see how our men choosing to marry our oppressor’s women instead of our own women, can completely blot out the black race. But this is NOT a coincidence; this is America’s plan to white us out of existence. It’s called Blanqueamiento [which] is the racial whitening of a dark population of people by mating with them to dissolve their race.
Genocide can take many forms. Any deliberate activity to displace or remove an ethnic group is a form of genocide, even if done through “soft” methods like economic or cultural pressure, or through decentralized methods like people independently obeying ideology instead of a centralized command or law. As time goes on, it becomes clear that diversity will bring genocide to all groups under its control.
We hear the term minority group relatively frequently, but it is rarely defined. The United Nations offers the definition of a minority group under international law:
According to a definition offered in 1977 by Francesco Capotorti, Special Rapporteur of the United Nations Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, a minority is: A group numerically inferior to the rest of the population of a State, in a non-dominant position, whose members – being nationals of the State – possess ethnic, religious or linguistic characteristics differing from those of the rest of the population and show, if only implicitly, a sense of solidarity, directed towards preserving their culture, traditions, religion or language.
As implied by the term “minority,” the fundamental idea is of a distinct group that is numerically inferior, but the broader question is, why limit this to a particular state, especially since “globalism” seems to be the trend of the moment? A minority is any distinct group that is not the majority worldwide, in this new definition, which expands our focus to cover any potentially endangered population.
Another question is power. If an ideology holds sway in a nation, even a numerically dominant group can be threatened because it has inferior numerical support for its position, even if it does not realize that it is at risk. Any group on the wrong end of power could be a minority here, such as the numerical majority in Syria who are not Alawite.
This definition of minority makes sense in a historical context, but by applying its spirit to the changed circumstances under which we find ourselves, we see how the term “minority” has both lost and gained meaning.
